Ficus Studio

Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-07-27 · applies to TripShelf and this website

TripShelf

Data storage

TripShelf stores everything you enter in a CSV file on your device, or in your iCloud Drive if you keep the file there. iCloud storage and sync are provided by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy. TripShelf has no accounts and no server. Ficus does not collect, receive, or process any data from the app.

Network requests

The app makes two kinds of network request.

Exchange rates: daily reference rates are fetched from frankfurter.dev and, for currencies it does not cover, from a public dataset on jsdelivr.net. These requests contain currency codes and dates only.

Place search: typing in a place or address field sends that text to Apple Maps to return suggestions, under Apple's privacy policy.

There is no other network traffic: no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no third-party SDKs.

Screenshot import

Import from Screenshot uses Apple's on-device text recognition and Apple Intelligence. The image and its text are processed on the device and are not uploaded.

AI Import

AI Import provides a prompt for you to copy into a chatbot of your choosing. Anything you send to that chatbot is handled by its provider under their terms. The app sends nothing to any AI provider; it parses the reply you paste back, on the device.

Photos

A cover photo is stored as a photo library identifier, not as an image. The image is not copied into the file and not uploaded. Creating identifiers requires full photo library access, which is why the app requests it.

App Store privacy label

Data Not Collected.
